More About the Credits!

Welcome back guys! My group and I have talked more about the credits idea and have decided we still want to do something like what I talked on my last post regarding the credits--the credits being part of the actual action in the film opening--but we came up with a different idea on how to achieve this. Instead of adding the names by computer, we are thinking of doing it manually. So here's what we are thinking of doing: it includes fabric markers, several pairs of clothing, and maybe cloth patches.

So now lets go over our actual plan. We want to incorporate the credits by either stitching them to the items of clothing or using fabric markers to write them out. Of course the patches on the clothing items would look amazing and very clean; however, for the amount of credits we want to present, this task would take a lot of time, time that we could be using for other more valuable things regarding our film opening. The other problem is none of us are professionals at stitching and the materials can be quite expensive. This is why we are leaning more towards the fabric markers idea. Instead of using patches, we would just write the credits on the items of clothing using the fabric markers.

Sometimes it really is all about the money! Since we do not really want to spend that much on this part of the opening film and would rather save money if needed for other parts of the film, we think the best option is to go with the fabric markers idea. This way we save time and money! We have already found many different and amazing types of fabric markers on Amazon for very fair prices. Now for how we are getting the items of clothing, I suggested we could check out Goodwill. This place allows us to choose from a variety of many different clothing items, for a very small price. Hopefully we are able to find what we need at these places so we can start filming as soon as possible. I'll keep you guys updated, see you soon!
